Dr. Timothy Gatten was born in Spokane, WA and raised in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He is the second of nine children. His father practiced as a dentist in Coeur d’Alene for almost 40 years. He was a valedictorian at CDA High in 1991 where he played football, basketball and baseball and was the concertmaster violinist in the orchestra. He graduated magna cum laude from BYU with a degree in Exercise Physiology. There he spent time as a redshirt with the baseball team and as a member of the symphony orchestra. He served a two year mission for the LDS church in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.
Dr. Gatten attended the University of Washington Dental School where he graduated first in his class and earned his D.D.S., M.S.D. and Certificate of Endodontics. He has received awards for his research, which has been published in the Journal of Endodontics.
He takes great pride in providing the highest level of patient care in a calm and compassionate manner. He provides services in surgical and non-surgical root canal therapy, extractions and implants. He is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontics.
Outside of work Dr. Gatten enjoys many activities in the outdoors with his wife Lizzy and their 5 children.
